Dr. Madeline LeBaron Johnson is the Chair of the Music Department at Snow College, where she also serves as Professor of Clarinet and Music Theory, Head of the Woodwind Area, and Director of Chamber Music. An accomplished soloist, Dr. LeBaron has performed with orchestras and bands across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Costa Rica. She has been featured at the International Clarinet Association's ClarinetFest in 2003, 2023, and 2025.
As the founder of the Utah Clarinet Festival, Dr. LeBaron is dedicated to advancing clarinet performance and education. Her scholarly contributions include articles published in The Clarinet and the Utah Music Educator's Journal. She has also performed with Ballet West and the Orchestra at Temple Square in Salt Lake City. A highly sought-after clinician, adjudicator, and performer, Dr. LeBaron remains actively engaged in the musical community.
