Catalog Description: This course provides a means to document concert attendance by students majoring in music. This course is repeatable for credit.

Justification: All students majoring in music at institutions with NASM accredited programs must attend a variety of live musical performances each semester. Documentation of attendance must take place for the first 4 semesters of a degree program.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will attend at least 12 concerts each semester. Students will submit signed or stamped concert programs for concerts attended. For concerts where no program is provided, students will submit a paragraph summarizing the event.
Content:
Students will attend at least 12 performances each semester. Performances offered will cover many styles, historical periods, and cultures.

The course is pass/fail. If students attend 12 concerts they will pass the course
